I need co-founders. No one can do it all.

And the first person I need is a technical co-founder!

Starting a tech company without any tech people is like starting a plumbing business without any plumbers. I used to be a software engineer, but now I'm better as a head of product.

I've found a CTO co-founder who brings a team that can start building our wireframes and MVP.

We can do a lot using equity (ownership of our startup), without raising money.

I have another friend who got super excited about the idea and wants to help with operations and fundraising.

Vesting schedules are important! All of us (even me) earn our equity over time through our contributions. This gives each of us a good incentive to keep working hard—plus it protects us in case one of our co-founders doesn't work out.

The next person we need is a marketing co-founder.

I've been doing this long enough that I've learned that customer acquisition is more important than tech—which sounds crazy (since I'm a tech person) but it's true.
