Legislators in Minnesota and members of the Minneapolis City Council announced a deal on minimum pay rates for Uber and Lyft drivers across the whole state.

Minnesota state lawmakers from both the House and Senate came together with the Minneapolis City Council to announce a statewide minimum wage rate of $1.27 per mile and $0.49 a minute.

However, Uber and Lyft do not agree with the deal, and both companies said they will leave the entire state if the deal takes effect. Will this be the end of the rideshare companies in Minnesota?
