The Ferrari Testarossa has become an icon of the 80's, and for good reason. Ferrari also made many changes to the car to improve the handling, such as lowering the entire engine and transmission in order to improve handling. The Ferrari Testarossa series was Ferraris best selling 12 cylinder car, with about 10,000 units produced across all the various models. About 7,700 of those were the original Ferrari Testarossa, with production reduced to about 2,200 for the Ferrari 512TR, and a mere 501 512M. There is a good reason the Ferrari 512 TR and entire Ferrari Testarossa series has become so popular today.
