One of the most heated arguments I have seen to date is Can a EDC Knife be a survival Knife. Many will say that a survival knife as to be able to batton through an 20 inch oak tree and still make a fish hook out of pine cones. Others will clearly say you never plan to be in a survival situation it just happens and what you happen to have on you is your survival gear. I have some amazing smaller USA Made knives. I think any of these would be nice to have in a survival situation. LT Wright Knives, White River Knife and Tool, Very Good Knife Co, Esee. All make some great knives and are worth looking at.
