In the realm of ancient tales, a story unfolds,
Of a prophet named Joseph, in the annals of old.
A tale of eloquence, of virtue, and grace,
A journey through trials, a destined embrace.

In the land of Canaan, a father's love profound,
Jacob and his sons, their destinies bound.
Joseph, a gem among siblings, so fair,
Enveloped by a cloak, a symbol to wear.

Whispers of envy, like shadows, did creep,
Among brothers deceitful, secrets they'd keep.
Led by the whispers, dark and unkind,
A plot was conceived, in malice entwined.

A coat stained with falsehood, a tale woven sly,
They declared Joseph devoured by a wolf's cry.
Yet, Jacob's heart, resilient and bold,
Refused to accept a fate so cold.

Through years of longing, his tears fell like rain,
For a son lost in shadows, in sorrow and pain.
But hope, like a beacon, refused to be gone,
In the depths of despair, a glimmer still shone.

Young Joseph, a captive in a world so unkind,
Yet, in adversity, his spirit refined.
A servant, then prisoner, he faced every test,
Forgiveness in his heart, he deemed it the best.

His brothers, unknowing, sought refuge one day,
Little did they fathom the role they would play.
Joseph, the forgiver, embraced them with love,
A reunion ordained from the heavens above.

A tale of redemption, of trials untold,
Joseph's forgiveness, a virtue extolled.
In the face of betrayal, he chose the high road,
A soul so forgiving, like the mercy of God.

Oh, Prophet Joseph, a beacon so bright,
Guiding us through darkness, with mercy and light.
