Leah Clark is a voiceover actress and a screenwriter that portrays unhinged boy-crazy anti-hero, Himiko Toga, in My Hero Academia. A few minutes into the chat, I asked if she could try to get into character. She politely declined mostly because Himiko's core personality where she is both angry and fanatical causes this role to be challenging for her. I started to understand why as she explained a bit about her process to me. It led me to compare Himiko to Tara Strong's portrayal of Harley Quinn to a more mentally unstable degree.

I was stuck in traffic on my way back from the Jersey Shore and miraculously, I was able to join the call just before it was cancelled. It's a rare occasion where I'm thankful some fans have booked time with an actor in case I'm running late. Hopefully, if I can help it, it won't happen again. 😅

I lightened the mood by telling a small fanfic I conjured in my head involving a fight Himiko was in that caused a traffic jam. I felt bad that Leah assumed this really happened so to ease her concerns, I had to tell her I was joking, but she was still grateful I made it home.
