Local students are cultivating skills for success through gardening. Green Our Planet, a national non-profit, sponsors the program in the Clark County School District. The program is training the next generation of farmers, entrepreneurs, chefs, engineers and scientists. The Gardening Club at R.E. Tobler Elementary has a thriving student garden. Like other schools, they work in the garden throughout the school year. Each spring, students showcase their hard work at the Student Farmer's Market in Downtown Summerlin.
