I recommend you file your protest letters for Letter 508 and Application A.17.04-001

NOTE: Rejection of Letter 501 by CPUC was a rejection of an increase of 3.65% not 11.2% as stated in my email below.
BTW SJWC has now filed an appeal for this rejection of Letter 501, they are not giving up.
All the more reason for us to express our voice and request CPUC and their staff to protect us
When was the last time a rate increase was pushed back so extensively by citizens of Saratoga and CPUC actually denied the rate increase? Never, as far as I know.

There are more rate increases planned by SJWC, and we are going to protest (almost) each and every one.
I request your kind support to push back SJWC efforts to continue increasing our water rates
Without your protest, the rate increase request of Letter 501 would have been approved by CPUC staff.
CPUC decided to take a closer look at this rate increase due to YOUR protest letters
