Here are my highlights from when my 2020 UK solo road trip took me to Edinburgh. In my opinion Edinburgh is one the greatest cities in the UK. I'd been there a few years ago with my ex husband, so now it was time to make memories of my own.

From the iconic architecture and cobbled streets in the old town and Royal Mile, to the panoramic views from Calton Hill and the summit of Arthur's seat, I instantly fell in love with Edinburgh all over again. This city has so much to see and do. Rich in history and culture, I guarantee you will not be disappointed by Edinburgh.

Watch as I try a true Scottish delicacy here - a deeped fried Mars Bar! I also discovered a true hidden gem just 15 minutes walk from the city centre called Dean Village.
