Hey, TheThings fans - welcome back to another video! Is anyone else obsessed with Netflix’s Shadow and Bone? We just can’t get enough of the magic, romance, and of course the adorable Shadow and Bone cast.

The series follows orphan Alina Starkov, played by Jessie Mei Li, who accidentally discovers that not only is she Grisha but a Sun Summoner. This means she has the capability to reunite her country by destroying the fold and the creatures within.

While the onscreen magic looks amazing, we couldn’t help but wonder what the series would look like without its visual effects. So, we’re peeling back the curtain and heading behind the scenes of this fantasy series.

We’re exploring not only how they filmed scenes without VFX and CGI but the work that went into the series behind the scenes from the cast and crew. They may have been filming in Budapest but this was no vacation for them.

You’ll soon find out that this series truly was a team effort and wouldn’t have been possible without every single person on set.
