This week we take a brief look at the history of the .45 Colt cartridge, also known as the .45 Long Colt. This cowboy action caliber was briefly the primary cartridge of the United States Army during the late 19th Century. It remains a popular revolver caliber today, and is used regularly in Cowboy Action Shooting.
