The “Loop” is the heart of chicago. It originally got the name from a cable-car line that circled the city's central business district in the 1880s. Today, it is more associated with the loop that the cta train tracks make. This patch of area is considered the main business district for the city.

The loop is a popular tourist destination. With many early architectural buildings and historical landmarks, the Chicago downtown area has become a popular attraction.
