The 2006 Nissan Xterra won so many awards it's hard to even cover them all. Rugged looking, reliable, plenty of power, and one of the last cars that really had some character to it. It was positioned as the SUV for adventurers, advertised incredibly well and the first generation sold like crazy. By the time this one (the 2nd generation) came out sales were dwindling and the update didn't save it.
