While it’s no secret that China has a huge population of over 1.4 billion people, did you know that its birth rate has been falling for 4 consecutive years? China’s infamous one-child policy is now a distant memory, and recently, the Chinese government announced that it would allow families to have up to 3 children in an attempt to avoid a looming population crisis. So how are the Chinese reacting to this new policy and do they think it will work? We hit the streets of Shanghai to find out.
