The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger, an all-new addition to the light-duty pickup truck segment, marks a significant advancement in the electric vehicle space, showcasing Ram's commitment to leading-edge technology and innovation. Tim Kuniskis, CEO of the Ram brand at Stellantis, highlights the Ramcharger as the epitome of electric trucks with its unparalleled battery-electric range, positioning it as a leader in its class.

The Ramcharger boasts an impressive targeted range of up to 690 miles, setting a new standard in the segment. It features a robust 92 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack, complemented by an on-board 130 kW generator. This power setup drives the 250-kilowatt front and 238 kW rear electric drive modules (EDMs), ensuring formidable power delivery and efficiency.

A standout feature of the Ram 1500 Ramcharger is its bi-directional charging capability, enabling vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-home power supply. This flexibility allows the Ramcharger not only to charge other Stellantis battery-electric vehicles but also to provide power back to the grid or for domestic use. In times of need, such as during a storm, it can power a home, run equipment at a tailgate party, or provide electricity at a campsite or job site, thanks to its onboard power panel that can deliver up to 7.2 kW.

Performance-wise, the Ramcharger is no slouch. It targets a 0-60 mph acceleration time of just 4.4 seconds, backed by a powerful 663 horsepower and over 615 lb.-ft. of torque. Its towing capacity is also best-in-class, capable of towing up to 14,000 pounds with a class 5 hitch, and it boasts a maximum payload capacity of 2,625 pounds, again setting a class-leading standard.

The Ram 1500 Ramcharger is a key part of Ram’s contribution to the Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, which aims to transform mobility with innovative, clean, safe, and affordable solutions. Stellantis' commitment to this vision is underscored by its substantial investment of over €30 billion through 2025 in electrification and software, aiming to meet the evolving needs of customers with a focus on battery-electric vehicles.
