Technology changes with time and the science behind metal casting keeps improving. The future of the UK cast metals industry will depend upon bringing new technology to the industry that is suitable and adaptable to existing plants and buildings. The ability to produce complex cores of high quality repeatedly for the production of internal profiles within castings, either functional or for light weighting products, is key for many foundries.
