Positive Energy, along with the rest of Texas, was hit hard by the multiple winter storms that kept temperatures well below freezing for over 100 hours last week. Our power and water grids failed, along with natural gas and cellular data in some cases. Many people sheltered in homes that could not keep them warm enough and certainly could not provide them the water they needed. In this short, bonus video-episode of The Building Science Podcast, we'll unpack what happened, starting at the grid level and narrowing our focus to the level of individual homes to try and understand how we can prevent this from happening again.
