We installed some Kooks Headers and an X pipe on a 2007 C6 Corvette Z06 and made a quick video showing all the major steps - along with the beautiful LS7 engine note at the end.

Here are the installation steps (some might have been omitted or performed in slightly different orders):

1 ) disconnect battery
2 ) remove covers
3 ) remove spark plug wires
4 ) remove spark plugs
5 ) disconnect front o2 sensors
6 ) unbolt all exhaust hangers and clamps
7 ) drain oil
8 ) disconnect rear o2 sensors
9 ) unbolt and remove exhaust from manifolds
10 ) unbolt exhaust manifolds
11 ) disconnect oil cooler lines - watch out for o rings
12 ) drain oil cooler
13 ) slide out manifolds under car
14 ) unbolt ground wire & starter ground to move harness to slide header in
15 ) install o2 sensor harness extensions
16 ) loosen starter for room to slide header in
17 ) insert header from under
18 ) tighten starter bolts, rebolt ground wire and starter ground
19 ) slide in driver side header next
20 ) install front o2 sensors with header loose
21 ) with gaskets in place, start header bolts
22 ) remove 1st, 4th, 7th set of tunnel plate bolts (front to back)
23 ) secure o2 harnesses to tunnel plate bolts
24 ) remove and install rear o2 sensors to new xpipe
25 ) connect pipes/install clamps, do not tighten
26 ) install pipes / connect o2 sensors
27 ) tighten all clamps and hangers, torque wrench to 45-48 ft/lbs
28 ) connect oil cooler lines (dont forget o rings)
29 ) tighten header bolts
30 ) install spark plugs/wires
31 ) add oil (mobile 1 5w30)
32 ) reconnect battery
