This is a teaser video for the upcoming to be released, remastered version of the fantastic freeware DC-6 models produced by the team at CalClassic Propliners. This is based upon their aircraft that they originally gave permission to me to turn into the tanker versions. These are the same models, however, things have been updated, corrected, and added to more correctly represent these fantastic tankers that flew in North America as well as Europe as firebombers. But now optimized for use in P3Dv4+ with the addition of 4K textures and PBR. Most versions of the DC-6s were capable of carrying up to 2,450 US Gallons of fire retardant or water. The new package will consist of 8 liveries across 3 base models of the DC-6. The DC-6/F or "Baby DC-6," the DC-6A, and DC-6B. The largest differences being the tank configurations and external equipment on the aircraft. These aircraft are NOT compatible with FSX or MSFS.
