Berries are beneficial due to their high fiber content and low sugar content. Apples, with their soluble fiber, can aid in blood sugar regulation. Citrus fruits, such as lemons, oranges, and grapefruits, are excellent options due to their high fiber content and low-calorie content. Pears, with their low glycemic index and high fiber content, do not raise blood sugar levels. Cherries have a lower glycemic index and fewer calories. Kiwis are rich in fiber and vitamin C, while peaches have low carb content.

On the other hand, bananas have a higher sugar and carbohydrate content, which can raise blood sugar levels. Grapes, mangoes, pineapples, and watermelon can also raise blood sugar levels. Regular blood sugar checks and individualized dietary advice from a doctor or nutritionist are essential for managing diabetes.
