ABOUT THE VIKINGS FINAL SEASON:
On air since 2013, Vikings was the US TV channel History’s first original series, and was created and written by Michael Hirst. It tells the stories of the Norsemen of Scandinavia, beginning with the raid of Lindisfarne and progressing as Viking rule expanded around the world. Season 6 begins six months after the battle of Kattegat that concluded Season 5, with Bjorn as the new king. The music for all seasons of Vikings has been written by Emmy-winning composer TREVOR MORRIS (The Tudors, The Borgias, Taken, Olympus Has Fallen, London Has Fallen). Morris’s action-packed score vividly captures the dark and dramatic world of the Vikings. The cast for Season 6 of Vikings includes KATHERYN WINNICK as Lagertha (Winnick also directs an episode), ALEXANDER LUDWIG as Bjorn, and ALEX HØGH ANDERSEN as Ivar the Boneless.
