This 1970 Chevelle began life as a base 2 door sport coupe V8. It has undergone the process of being converted into a 1970 SS454 clone/recreation. It was an excellent candidate to begin with. The original body panels are super straight and solid. There is a market for these types of cars for guys who aren’t interested in spending major dollars on an authentic SS454 and want to enjoy their cars. In my opinion, this transformation is exactly how the car should have been restored as long as it’s always properly represented as a clone or recreation.
