Did you know that The Incredible Hulk’s first on-screen appearance was in a 1977 CBS TV series that had appearances from Thor and Daredevil?
Marvel characters have had a lot of different interpretations over the years, and not every one of them has always stuck to the same core idea.
Before the Marvel Cinematic Universe came along, creators had free reign over the licensed properties, for better or for worse.
Characters haven’t just changed throughout the MCU (like Thor in Ragnarok or Thanos in Avengers Assemble), but we’ve seen very different executions of some of our favorite characters hitting the TV screen. And we’re not just talking Netflix Adaptations, reboots or Dinsey+ series. There are some pretty strange Marvel movies from before the 2000s. Nick Fury was played by David Hasselhoff in what critics claimed to be “the worst marvel film in history”!
I mean, Spiderman having a Power Rangers Megazord? The Fantastic Four had a B-movie film so bad it wasn’t shown to the public, not even Aunt May or Juggernaut have stayed the same! There’s been some pretty wild stuff out there!
The only thing constant in life is that everything changes. In this video, we’re going to show you some of the characters who have changed the most over their time on-screen.
