Emmy is one of my fav Idol contestants this season because of her authenticity, vulnerability, and willingness to grow. I was touched by this song, for although I have not dealt with an eating disorder myself, I know what it is like to feel like you are not enough and need to compensate. If you are struggling out there, remember that you are not alone and that your self worth is not defined by others!
