Hey guys!

Today I bring the making of a fighter knife forged in SAE5160 carbon steel.

The lines of the bolster are continued in the hilt made of buffalo horn.

I did selective quenching with clay, to harden the edge of the knife but leave the back "softer", which prevents the steel from breaking.

As you can see at the beginning of the video, it is a knife made of only two materials, but due to its details, it presents itself very well.

Hoje trago a confecção de uma faca fighter forjada em aço carbono SAE5160.

As linhas do bolster têm continuidade na empunhadura feita em chifre de búfalo.

Fiz têmpera seletiva com argila, para endurecer o fio da faca mas deixar o dorso mais "macio", o que evita que o aço possa se quebrar.

Como podem ver no início do video é uma faca de apenas dois materiais, mas que por conta dos seus detalhes se apresenta muito bem.
