The classic Optiplex is a great way to start out with PC gaming and not breaking the bank. If you want a 1080p 60fps machine then these builds are perfect for that, although not as aesthetically pleasing as a traditonal gaming PC's. I built one around a year ago in the beginning of 2021 and was curious with the continued price hikes, is it still possible to do it in 2022? I was aiming for a GPU around the GTX 960/970/1060 on the NVIDIA side and anything around an RX570 or 580 on the AMD side. It all depends on the prices you can find locally around you and really just purchase the one that makes the most sense for your budget.
