Shuichi Kagai has a secret - he is not someone who can be called normal. In fact, Shuichi isn't even human: he once woke up as a monster. Strong, with big fluffy paws, depression and self-hatred. Claire Aoki, the girl he chose to save, is now keeping his secret. A sadist with no sympathy for others, before meeting Shuichi, she was looking for his kind, hoping to find her monster sister.
