In this video, I discuss when you should check your blood sugar levels.
My patients often ask me if they need to check their blood sugar levels. Once I answer with a yes (it’s always a yes, by the way), naturally, the next question they ask is when to check them.

Most people check their fasting blood sugar levels first thing in the morning before eating or drinking. This is generally when you will see the most consistent blood sugar reading, with fewer day-to-day fluctuations.
