Welcome to Sensible Secondhand Classics, the series where we take a sensible classic car worth between £1000 and £5000 and put it through its paces in a very straightforward manner! This time we are at the Great British Car Journey in Derbyshire and we have access to the museum as well as the Drivedadscar.com experience. This 1971 Austin 1300 GT Mark III is one of the cars which are part of the experience, and so brace yourself for some cones in a slalom (again), following in the footsteps of Ian Seabrook, a bit of a tricky gearbox, a very full complement of instruments and generally little of any consequence at all. Nothing untoward then!
