This electronic groupset from L-TWOO is pretty groundbreaking, but isn’t completely free of issues…

I have been waiting for an electronic groupset from a Chinese manufacturer for YEARS at this point! This is basically because electronic groupsets from the likes of Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo are incredibly expensive, and have been far outside the reach of most cyclists.

However with the release of the eRX groupset, L-TWOO have reached a massive milestone. They have released the first electronic road bike groupset from a chinese manufacturer, and at around £550, the cost is far below the big entrenched brands!

However there are a few issues currently floating around. Joe, from the channel China Cycling has faced some waterproofing issues with his eRX groupset, and Grant over at GC performance has had some bluetooth connectivity issues (essentially the groupset went into sleep mode, mid-ride).

In this video, I’ll be unboxing the groupset, give you my initial impressions, and also discuss the various different versions of this groupset that currently exist.
