Custom Exhaust Built at Home isn't really all that difficult if you have patience and a plan. In this video we ditch the restrictive 2" exhaust on my 1964 Mercury Comet and install a fully custom 2.5" exhaust including an X pipe from Pypes and Flowmaster Super 44 Mufflers.

The x pipe will free up extra horsepower from its scavenging affect while the 2.5" diameter stainless steel exhaust will let this 302 breathe a lot better.

Check out the plan, install, weight savings, and sound check on my favorite ratty muscle car.
