Hyundai has recently unveiled the latest iteration of its Santa Cruz lineup for the year 2025, with an emphasis on the luxurious Limited model. While the entire range sees a modest update on the exterior and significant enhancements within, the Limited version stands out with its premium features and technological advancements. Initially focused on aesthetics and off-road capability, particularly in the XRT trim, the 2025 refresh broadens its appeal with upgrades that cater to comfort, performance, and cutting-edge technology, especially in the Limited trim.

For the exterior, the 2025 Santa Cruz across all models introduces a refined front fascia. This includes a grille redesigned with geometric patterns and a lower front section that's been subtly reworked for a more modern, truck-like appearance. This shift may spark conversations about potential influences from competitors like the Ford Maverick, given the move towards a more squared-off front end. The Santa Cruz Limited distinguishes itself with exclusive wheel designs and a bespoke rear fascia, although the primary changes are seen at the vehicle's front.

The interior of the Limited model is where the enhancements become more pronounced. Inspired by the interior redesign seen in Hyundai's Tucson, the Santa Cruz Limited features a sweeping panoramic screen that merges the instrument cluster and center infotainment display into one seamless curve. With screens available up to 12.3 inches, set against a backdrop of a refreshed dashboard layout, the cabin feels futuristic. A new storage solution above the glove box, a redesigned steering wheel reminiscent of the Tucson, and centrally located tactile controls for audio and climate systems enhance the user experience.

Technological advancements are at the forefront of the Limited's interior upgrades. The model now supports over-the-air updates, ensuring that the vehicle's software is always current. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, enhancing connectivity without the clutter of cables. Additionally, Hyundai introduces Bluelink+ connected car technology and an in-car payment system, Hyundai Pay, for added convenience. The Digital Key 2 Touch feature, which allows for smartphone control over locking and unlocking, is particularly noteworthy. Safety enhancements include the addition of Forward Attention Warning, with the Limited model further benefiting from standard surround-view and blind-spot cameras.

Powering the Limited model are two engine choices: the base 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 191 horsepower, and the more robust 2.5-liter turbocharged engine, boasting 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. The turbocharged engine pairs with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and features a new towing mode capable of handling loads up to 5,000 pounds, underscoring the Santa Cruz Limited's balance of luxury and utility.

As the 2025 Santa Cruz makes its way to dealerships this summer, the anticipation for the Limited model's pricing and its comparison to the preceding year grows. The 2024 Santa Cruz began at $28,275, with the Limited topping the range at $42,695. With its array of enhancements, the 2025 Limited model is poised to redefine expectations for what a luxury pickup truck can offer.
