For $229 US or $308 AUD, you can buy a brand new Sony video camera.
Tonight’s video asks if you should?

This video is a casual review of the Sony Handycam HDR-CX405.
A full HD video camera with some great tricks up it's sleeve.

In 2022 smartphone video is so good you might wonder why the average person would even consider a traditional video camera, let alone an entry level one. However if you go onto Sony's website (in most countries) you’ll see the HDR-CX405 available brand new for $230 USD / $308 AUD.

In tonight’s video we explore it's features and reflect on the quality of the camera through several short films. Each film focuses on a camera feature with the intention of measuring it's performance in a real world scenario. In addition to this, almost all of the video has been filmed with the Handycam itself. So the entire video is really a camera test.
