( that's what it says on paper ) In reality, It can pass most of our tests without any help from the crew but TCS is really aggressive depending on what drive mode you will choose! Our best recommendation: Leave TCS on and use Sand mode because it will create the momentum required to pass any obstacle! There was no overheat of the transmission and no switch to neutral as we did experience in the diagonal test! The different mode will change the distribution of the power according to:

Mud/Rut Mode: When the trail gets muddy, this mode will evenly distribute power to help keep you on track.

Sand Mode Climbing the dunes or hitting the beach, this mode increases torque at the rear for increased traction.

Snow Mode This winter mode monitors slippage and keeps you in a higher gear so that you can stay in control.

The Nissan Pathfinder returns closer to its original sources of styling with the look of a truck. With its 3.5L six-cylinder engine and 9-speed ZF transmission (yes, you read that right, no CVT transmission), the new Pathfinder develops 284 hp and 259 lb-ft of torque. It is also entitled to intelligent all-wheel drive and Nissan announces that it can tow 6,000 lbs!
