Wolverine is one of the most popular X-Men for a reason. We just all love his sideburns! No, there’s definitely more to it then that as his character is one of the most fascinating in all of Marvel history. And we’ve seen a lot of movies with the character. Hugh Jackman has donned Wolverine’s claws a total of nine times over the course of twenty years and has cemented his status as a comic book icon. Starting with Bryan Singer’s X-Men and concluding with James Mangold’s Logan, we’ve seen Jackman grow and evolve with the role over time. Some Wolverine movies have been great, others not so much, but the amount of films we’ve seen just show how popular the character is. And that’s not even counting all of his canceled movies!

Over the years, there have been a handful of canceled Wolverine projects. Did you know James Cameron and Katheryn Bigelow were trying to make an X-Men movie in the 90s starring Bob Hoskins as Wolverine? Did you know Zack Snyder had his own take for an R-Rated Wolverine film? Did you know that Wolverine and Mr. Fantastic almost had a brutal fight on the big screen over the superhero registration act? Did you know Tom Hardy as Wolverine was almost a thing? All of these sound interesting, but for one reason or another, they just fell apart, and today’s video will tell you why!
