Struggling to get the B+ down for a long time with my little Fender Tweed #Champ clone, I finally found a culprit and a solution. In this video I test NOS Tube Amp Doctor 5Y3GT versus old tubes from Haltron, General Electric, RCA and Adzam. I was able to bring the voltage down from 410Vdc to 370Vdc by simply swapping out rectifiers. As an additional test, I swapped out different 6V6s to see their effect on the B+
