Fanya Subra - means "Uphold Patience" or "Be patient".
Patience is one of the best virtues taught in Islam and with patience comes victory. This fine qaseeda from Ukhty Maryam carries an inspiring message.
As said in Quran:
نَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
“Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account.” Quran [Az-Zumar: 10]

In life we are met with so much trials and suffering that we can come close to giving up. But Allah (SW) and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) have taught us that only patience can enable us to proceed through these times towards worthy goals. As He promises in Quran that after trials a relief comes. Ukhty Maryam reminds us here that Allah is the best arranger of all our affairs and InshaAllah He will grant us that which is good for us.
