If you want a man to take you serious, you have to show that take yourself serious. You have to show that you were advocate for yourself, stand up for yourself and protect yourself, even from him if necessary. Too many women get played because they are not willing to walk away, and when the man sees that lack of pride and self preservation if he’s not a good person, he will make use of you. This is what humans do is not exclusive to men or women. If you want a man to take you seriously, if you want a man to see you as a potential partner, you have to show strength as an  individual. If you want to increase the chances of a man liking you act like you like yourself. Require respect and be willing to walk away if he doesn’t give it .
