Hey folks! Today we're going to dive into the topic of mycotoxin detox approaches using common binders. This video is specifically for those who suspect exposure to mouldy environments and are dealing with all the common symptoms like feeling toxic, sluggish, and having adverse reactions to food and the environment.

We'll start by understanding what mycotoxins are and how they can be toxic, as well as their ability to suppress immune function. It's important to recognize that eliminating mycotoxins from the body naturally can be quite challenging for many individuals. That's why we need to support the detoxification process with binders.

Throughout the video, I'll be discuss various binders that I have found helpful in the Byron Herbalist clinic. First, there are prescription binders like cholestyramine and colesevelam, commonly used for high cholesterol but also effective in eliminating mycotoxins. We'll also explore natural binders such as activated charcoal, which has a broad affinity for different mycotoxins. Bentonite clay is another powerful natural binder, especially for aflatoxins, gliotoxins, and zearalenone. We'll touch upon zeolites as well, but it's important to consider their effectiveness and quality.

Moving on, we'll talk about chlorella, a gentle binder with alkaline properties and nutritional benefits. Incorporating fiber into your routine can also aid in detoxification. Flaxseed, chia seed, psyllium husk, and hemp seeds are great options to promote bowel movements and support the elimination of toxins. You can easily add these binders to your daily smoothies or other meals.

Lastly, let's discuss the role of probiotics in mycotoxin detoxification. Specific strains of lactobacillus and Saccharomyces species are potent binders of mycotoxins and also have antifungal properties. They can effectively bind to aflatoxins, ochratoxins, zearalenone, and more. Additionally, certain probiotics have beneficial effects on the body's antioxidant system and can help combat fungal overgrowth.

I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to all of you for watching this video.
