In a junky magic shop Weeds, a wimpy trickster, jokingly casts the spell of "Second Sight" with the help of a do-it-yourself voodoo book. Some magic dust accidentally falls on MaryBeth, his more sophisticated girlfriend, and on a pair of "Super Specs"--guaranteed to give X-ray vision. MaryBeth is spooked when the glasses make her see a dark figure motioning to her, and she is completely frustrated when no one believes what she sees. Has she opened a window into an alternate universe? In a bizarre make-shift seance, two worlds fight for the same space.
