small grille aperture green s badges and lack of visible exhaust pipes LED us to believe that this is actually what we've seen here this blue one is the Cooper EV and this will be built in China while the gas powered model which is expected to share its styling with the EV arrive on an updated version of the current platform
and be assembled in Oxford

England the same turbocharged 1.5 litre three cylinder and turbocharged 2 litre four cylinder it was the automatic transmission fantastic transmission around 181 horsepower I believe that had still felt really quick and it was the all wheel drive version in the front end of the Mini Coopers with this black mouth in the in the front end housing the key graphics you have the grill up here
you have some additional intakes at the bottom and all of this is actually functional for the car and I love these headlights specifically when you have the black outline or the framing for the highlights this is such a clean LED ellipse right here in the middle with the same thickness going all around it and definitely a strong connection to the original meaning obviously with the with this design it looks great and we have some functional air curtains right here
on the sides as well in the front that I do love these wheels gonna have a look at this more in in a side view the new one it it doesn't really have a bunch of changes to it there are two big changes in the front and keep in mind that this is the EV so we don't really have any grille openings maybe just this one here at the bottom for the battery but there are two main changes in the front and first of all we have now you can see that this hood is all smooth in the current 2023 Mini Cooper they added these lines creases onto the hood
we do have a sharp line in the rear fender this looks a lot more mini Cooperish to me I love these oversized taillights because when we have the taillights being this big on this small of a car it shrinks the car even more and these are definitely some of the coolest LEDs in any production car right now with the Union Jack flag inside of the taillight itself and you have of course a center mounted black tailpipes on this car these wheels look fantastic as well and here you can see this chrome cream that wraps around the entire greenhouse
let's have a look at this interior and what is going on with this new interior this is actually the production interior that we have down here at the bottom and this is what I'm talking about simplifying so much to the point where you strip away the personalities of the car I think this is as I said borderline going into that kind of feel for the Mini Cooper I definitely prefer the old one in this case it doesn't look like we even have a gauge cluster for the new one instead everything is gonna be housed within this centerpiece and we don't even have a housing for the centerpiece itself like we had in the 2023 model year looking very nice different textures materials different creases a fun project for interior designers to work on I'm not sure how much fun this is honestly to work on you just put a big dash pretty circle in the middle and then you have the steering wheel
