Lou Shrinkle, an engineer and San Diego native discusses the advantages of creating a standardized swappable battery pack for all EVs. The advantages of a standardized EV battery pack would allow an EV owner to replace battery packs on their own, allow for a leasing/subscription model, remove the fear of battery degradation, among other advantages. An open question and answer session concludes this interesting presentation.
