I had noticed that my car felt like it was bottoming out on bumps and in general riding harsh. When I changed my wheels over I could see the bump stops were completely dry rotted and falling apart. So, I ordered a replacement kit off CJ Pony Parts from Ford Performance and installed them. Pretty large improvement after driving around for a little bit. If yours are still original, the odds are pretty good they need to be replaced.
