A year ago at the British Open Dance Championships in Blackpool Amy Dowden found a suspicious lump in her breast. The Strictly pro dancer was subsequently diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, underwent gruelling chemotherapy, a mastectomy and has been unable to dance for much of that time. Thankfully in February Amy’s MRI scan showed that there were no signs of cancer in her body and today she returns to her roots as she joins Christine from Blackpool’s famous ballrooms. She'll be sharing the latest on her recovery, how Strictly's future stars make it and why her dream of rejoining the Strictly family is still her biggest goal.
