In today's vlog, Gary and I venture to Chessington World of Adventures (WOA) mid-week for an over-night stay at the Chessington Azteca hotel! Last year we stayed at the Safari Hotel (courtesy of Chessington) and we had the best time. This stay in particular, we paid for ourselves. We start out our day by showing you some of the arrival procedure, including a temperature check, face masks, social distancing markings and a bag check (not shown for security reasons). Our first adventure has us taking a look around the YooHoo Children's Zoo.

We then experience Rattle Snake, Dragon's Fury, Gruffalo River Adventure and The Vampire, before breaking for lunch at Vampire's Burger Kitchen. We show the experience of ordering the food and whilst there was indoor seating open, we opted for outdoor seating based on our own comfort.

After lunch we head toward the Zoo to see the Sea Lions, Trail of the Kings, we meet a Donkey friend and visit the SeaLife and Penguin Bay. It's then on to Scorpion Express, Tomb Blaster (with a review of the new updates), a walk around the Tiger enclosures and finally the Lorikeet Lagoon.

Check-in at the hotels is from 3pm and whilst at the hotel, we visit both sides of the resort (Azteca & Safari), give you a full room tour of our Monkey Temple room (with Wanyama Reserve view), the Zafari Bar & Grill, animal lookout, Convention space (which offers evening entertainment), arcade and common areas.

We complete our day with a lovely meal at Zafari Bar & Grill, with both a review of the dining experience and our feedback of the day overall.

Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst I look to find new ways of brining you fun content to make your Sunday evenings a little more magical. Whilst current guidelines and travel restrictions do not make a trip to Disney possible right now, I hope to return when I am able and comfortable doing so.
