This project is to measure Solar Irradiation or Sunlight Intensity value using Solar Photovoltaic Cell as sensor and Arduino UNO as micro processor. The measured short circuit current of the cell, Irradiation intensity (W/m2) and daily irradiation value (Wh/m2/day) values are displayed on LCD Display shield and also can be saved in SD Card using Datalogger Shield for further processing. Solar irradiation meter often involved in solar photovoltaic application. The irradiation data can be saved and use in relation with other electrical parameters such as voltage, current, power and energy.
