A demonstration of a booking system built in Google Sheets. This spreadsheet is used to manage room bookings but could easily be re-purposed for booking equipment, allocating tasks, etc.

NOTE FOR USERS: I have discovered a minor bug that isn't addressed in the video. You must include a non-numerical character in your "Accommodation" and "Room Description" inputs. Otherwise some data validation rules won't work. For example, instead of "100" you may choose to call a room "#100" or "Room 100".

In this demonstration I show a Google Sheet spreadsheet that uses scripts to make a fully functioning room booking system. It was built for a small NGO based overseas. They needed a system that helped them manage volunteer accommodation.

The video shows how this spreadsheet allows you to manage your rooms/accommodation, add bookings, and view it all in a calendar.
