The multifunction lever left of the steering wheel controls your headlight beam selection, Flash to Pass lights, Lane Change Assist, windshield wipers, washer and turn signals.
To activate the high beams, push the lever away from you. To return to low beams, pull the lever back toward you.
To signal another vehicle with your headlights, lightly pull the lever toward you. This will activate the Flash to Pass high beams. They’ll stay on till you release the lever.
For Lane Change Assist, just tap the lever up or down once, without clicking into another position, and the turn signal will flash a few times, then automatically turn off.
The multifunction lever also runs your windshield wipers when the ignition switch is on. Turn the end of the lever to the first position past intermittent for low speed wipers. Turn it to the second position for high speed wipers.
Use the intermittent setting when you want single wipe cycles with a variable pause between each. To activate the washer jets, push the lever inward completely and hold it as long as spray is desired.
And, if equipped with auto headlights, your lights will come on about 10 seconds after you activate the wipers. This happens as long as the headlight switch is in the Auto position. The headlights will also turn off when the wipers are turned off, if they were activated by this feature.
If you need to clear the rear window, turn the center part of the switch forward to the on position for rear wipers. Turn the center all the way forward to turn on the rear washers.
And of course, you know to move the lever down to signal a left turn and up to signal a right.
