I installed a 4 part whole house water filter system for the well water we have. For the first two filtrations i used the iSpring WSP-50 and WSP-100 spin down filters. They have been great. They filter out the large particles and can be cleaned quickly and easily by turning the blow-off valve. Unlike the Culligan filter's that require a new filter every month, these are maintenance free.
The iSprings are very well made and accept 1" female or 3/4" male fittings, which is a really good idea.
