A late night idea, to cover a scheduled day away from retail work, took me to Dore & Totley via Sheffield post rebuild. Prior to 2024, Dore & Totley had one single platform, which all Hope Valley services used. In March 2024, the second platform was rebuilt and reopened, but had been labeled Platform 1, leaving the older platform as Platform 2. It was then April when disabled access was brought to the new platform through a pair of elevators midway down the station.
